So I got the bootloop. Phone got hot while in my pocket, took it out and saw 'optimizing apps'. After that, bootlooping. In effort of saving data, I decided to tinker around and possibly have found a way to save some data. Here is what I've done to save my data:
1. Tighten all screws on back of device.
2. Vol-Down + Power to turn device on (to stock recovery). There is an option for 'debug mode' or something like that, it's right under safe mode. Press it
My phone then made it through optimizing all apps and now I can use the phone. It's really really slow. MTP doesn't work. But I can move things to the SD card at least. Anyway it seems like a fluke but I decided to share. Hope it helps someone.
