How can I change username, post pictures?

Hi xda asistance team,
Please show me how to change my username and post some photos "attach thumbnails" on a thread, thanks so much in advance.
When i click on picture icon to upload pictures, it asks for an URL address, why is that?
Don't I get it from my phone's gallery?
