| To ensure I understand the issues correctly it looks like we have 2 main issues. Touch screen loses track of your finger (fingernail instead of your finger) and it registers as a tap. This is seen on Lollipop and Marshmallow. Multi-Touch is inconsistent. 2 Fingers will sometimes work but at times, it will only register 1 finger. When more fingers are used the issue occurs more frequently. This is seen more when the device is in a case or laying flat on a surface. Not in your hand. This issue is seen more commonly on Marshmallow. If there are other issues, please let me know. For those of you encountering the issue(s) above, I need some more information. If you know how to use ADB, I'd like to get some information from your phones. Please provide the following information. Which issue(s) you're having From ADB run the following commands and report back the results adb shell cat /sys/devices/virtual/graphics/fb0/panel_supplier adb shell cat /sys/bus/i2c/devices/2-0020/ic_ver adb shell ls -l /system/etc/firmware/synaptics* -Tom Motorola Support |
