Can i flash ZVD dump from another LS980 to my ZV8 LS980

Okay so me and my friend both have G2 LS980. his phone is running ZVD 4.4.2 unlocked and everything works perfectly fine. i'm using my LS980 on ZV8. Flashing ZVD and going through unlocking process seems somewhat of a headache.. is there someway i can make a dump of my friends LS980 and just flash that on my LS980 to make it run on ZVD 4.4.2 unlocked ?
