I am considering to use a customized ROM, because my stock ROM is really slow, and it has a lot of unnecessary apps from the manufacture.
My main concern is that, are customized ROMS stable enough to be used on a daily basis?
I have searched XDA about ROMs, and I found out that, even ROMs which have thousands of replies, there are still basic problems reported at the last pages of their thread, like:
- random mobile data signal lost
- can't send messages
- random reboot
- ...
Of course some of the problems might come from the users, for example, they might have configured their phones improperly. But there are still so many of them, which makes me hesitate to switch from the stock ROM to these customized ROMs.
What do you think about this?
