error when flashing any other rom but CM

When trying to flash a rom that is not a CM rom i get error message ,"Error executing updater binary in zip". even when rom is for ATT S4 variant. Same happens when trying to flash a 9505 ROM , like i used to do in the pass and then flash ATT kernel.
