external subtiles not working on mx player pro version

I'm using mx player pro version.once my phone got hanged,so I undergo factory reset, from there on whenever I load external .srt subtitle file it is showing unfortunately mx player has stopped working.Other videos are playing smoothly,files with embeded subtitles are also working smoothly.
Please give a solution for this.
